Yeah, I was actually surprised that Charlie Weis left the NFL for an OC job in college with a rookie coach at that! Something tells me he wasn't getting along with Haley in KC!
Does anybody get along with Haley? He had a reputation of being a jerk when he was in Arizona.
Oops, so the Offensive guru is.....Bill Muir? Looks like he was the Offensive Line coordinator and is riding Jon Gruden's reputation as an Offensive mastermind when he worked with him as the Bucs Offensive Line coach prior. I was a bit surprised that Charlie Weis would have been that stagnant given the Chief's rank #27 for total offense so far this season.
Word here in KC is that Pioli and Haley pretty much hate each other and Pioli is looking for an excuse to fire him and move on. Rumor was that if the Chiefs would have lost to the Colts earlier in the season, Haley was to be fired that week but then they won 4 straight and saved his job.
Can't say Im surprised...the second he let Gerrard go, I figured he had made his own bed. I was convinced he was an idiot at that point for sure.
