Just starting the NFL week again on a Thursday...I usually leave the picking of games to our other fine posters...I just like to comment on the game I see on Thursday night--

yeah, I know, tonight is Eagles vs Seahawks and right now the 'Hawks lead, 17-7...Marshawn Lynch had a big first half and two scores to lead Seattle...

Anyone else get the feeling the Seahawks could be primed for a stretch run and getting into the playoffs by a hair like they did last year? I get the feeling the NFC East winner will be at .500 which lets a 9-7 team into the playoffs.

Excuse me, Fellas??? You do have a few resident gals here! Me and Texasgal@heart for 2!

Go Pack Go! I wonder if the pep talks the defense got (Giants) after their loss to the Saints will help them this weekend!

How does the NFC east winners record ALLOW a 9-7 team to get into the playoffs???

I don't expect either wild card to come from the EAST.. I expect at least one to come from the NORTH (Lions or Bears).. which leaves one spot for the Falcons... Seahawks not likely to get in with 9-7 record.. but who knows.

Sorry, no offense ladies...I should have used a more general term...not trying to exclude any football fans!

Here's my picks for the rest of Week 13:

Tampa over Carolina (Blount makes the difference in this one)
Pitts over Cinci (Won't be as close as the matchup in Cinci)
Atlanta over Houston (Delhomme, really?...)
Jets over Wash (I have a weird feeling Wash might win this one, but I'm playing it safe)
New England over Indy (Will Bill run up the score? We'll see!)
Oakland over Miami (This one could go either way)
Minn over Denver (I think the run may end here)
Buff over Tenn (If they can't make the playoffs, they can at least try to beat the team that ended their last playoff run 12 years ago)
Chicago over KC (Bears cannot afford to lose this one)

Balt over Cleve (Keeping atop the division with this one)
Dallas over AZ (Arizona may make a game out of this one. Dallas shouldn't be too confident)
GB over Giants (Pack solidifies their dominance)
SF over Rams (Frisco should start resting their starters by halftime)

New Orleans over Detroit (Ignorant Suh can sit and watch his team lose)

San Diego over Jack (Two teams headed nowhere, other than maybe to different cities)
