How many of today's NFL players are jealous of the attention that Tebow gets.. especially considering how poorly he has played at times and his accomplishments, albeit growing, are still very small.
I'm a die-hard Steelers fan, but you have to give credit where credit is due. It was a tough game today but Tebow stepped up and looked like a real NFL QB. Good luck next week against NE.
Thanks-The Steelers played hard and Ben is a beast-
Tebow and 3:16...316 yards, 31.6 yards per completion, the final quarter-hour television rating was 31.6....this Saturday's score:
Patriots 31 Broncos 6
Everyone knows: God doesn't get involved until the finals of any sport....
Pittsburgh Mayor 'Tebows' to make good on football-playoff bet
MODERATOR NOTE: Copied from the Bronco's thread. Enjoy.
The mayor of Pittsburgh lost a bet with the mayor of Denver and this was the result.
This is from the Denver Post:
It is safe to say few people figured Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl would lose his playful wager with Denver Mayor Michael Hancock over last weekend's playoff game. Ravenstahl was pretty confident in a phone call with Hancock on Thursday, saying as much. "Fortunately for me, I have won more of these than I have lost," Ravenstahl said to Hancock. "If somehow Denver pulls off a miracle and wins on Sunday, I will wear a Denver Broncos jersey and 'Tebow,' I think they call it, in front of a historic landmark here in Pittsburgh." Hancock agreed to wear a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey and a Terrible Towel if Denver lost.
