And their DBs need to work with the WRs coach in the off-season to learn how to catch easy INTs.

They also need to figure out how to run the ball better. They never trailed by more than 10 points in the game until the fourth quarter, yet they only had 32 rushing yards? Either they can't run the ball for ****, or they didn't even try to.

Now let's play a little game of perception here...

A QB has the following stat line in a playoff game: 33/43, 466 yards, 3 TD. However, he's also lost a fumble, and thrown four bad passes that all should have been intercepted, but luckily none were. His running game also contributed the following stat line: 36 carries, 167 yards, 4.6 YPC, 2 TD.

As you can probably figure out, I'm talking about Drew Brees and the Saints running game here. After this game, the mainstream sports media will talk about the poise, efficiency and command of the offense that Drew Brees has.

On the other hand, let's say that I was talking about Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers running game. In that case, the pundits would talk about how it was the return of "Steelers football," with the power running game opening up the passing game, but Roethlisberger nearly blowing it anyway with four bad passes that all should have been picked off but weren't.

I can also guarantee you this: fans of all other teams, and in particular people who don't like the Steelers, would insist that the Steelers should have at least 14 fewer points on the board. They'd talk about the generous third-down spot that resulted in a first down and kept a drive alive early in the third quarter even though the receiver was stopped at least half a yard short with his team deep in its own territory. They'd also talk about the egregious holding non-call on the second TD run of the game. 'Cuz you know, the Steelers have the refs in their back pocket and stuff.

Now you know why I only watch the games themselves anymore.
Hopefully, for the Lions, Jahvid Best will return next season, and they will get back the RB they drafted, who was hurt in training camp for the year. I forgot his name. Hopefully, that will help the Lions running game.

The Pack didn't have the team to get anywhere near the Super Bowl that year. Unlike Atlanta last year!

I have a Gut feeling that Denver will "shock the world" and beat The Steelers today.
It will be Defensive battle the game will be something like 10-7 or 17-14. Decided by a field goal.

Tebow will play decently.
Tebow-mania will began again, but with a PLAYOFF Twist....WOOOT!!

.................................
OK my Brain tells me the Steelers destroy the Broncos 31-7.

I was rooting for the Lions there but I knew the Saints would burn them at some point. Lions though could be scary good in the future.

Bengals-Texans you could sort of tell that game was over after that pick 6. Dalton and Green are good pieces to build the offense around though.

What is up with the refs spotting the ball!? That was a horrible spot on Nicks' catch!

Who has a better shot at beating the Packers? Giants or Falcons?

They should use computer technology to spot the ball. Not what the refs think where the ball is.

Nope.

If QBs can be forgiven for throwing INTs, RBs forgiven for fumbling the ball, WRs forgiven for dropping passes, offensive linemen forgiven for missing blocks, LBs forgiven for missing tackles, DBs forgiven for dropping INTs, Ps forgiven for shaking punts, PKs forgiven for missing FG attempts, and coaches forgiven for stuff like stupid clock management or poor situational judgment, then referees can be forgiven for missing a couple of calls. They're just as human as the players and the coaches.
