Rex got more out of that team then they could have gotten out of themselves. He brought some swagger back to the Jets and coached them to 2 AFC championships. Ryan may be overly bombastic, but that team needed that cockyness to stand up to the Pats in the AFC East. He had a down year this year, but saying his tenure has been a failure is a bit premature at this point.

Honestly, they both did the best they could with what they had. I'm a little bit surprised that Rex isn't in the playoffs, but I'm actually confident that his team will be back in the thick of things next year because they've proven that already. Where the other is concerned, I'm not going to judge Rob after only one year in Dallas, so let's give that litmus test a little longer.
