It was on Saturday night hosted by Alec Baldwin. I actually really enjoyed it. Sure it can use some fine tuning but it's a great idea. They ran it a lot like the Oscars with a red carpet and everything.

I look forward to them improving it and it becoming 2nd to the playoffs/Superbowl in ratings someday.

I also enjoyed the show----I thought Alec Baldwin did a pretty decent job----he left the politics at home.

In a two hour package the awards show was a nice fit.

I really think it's got a future Jeff. I saw a "tweet" from some an ESPN guy who said he felt the awards show was the best idea the NFL got in a long time.

I could see it even moving to a prime time night a week after the Superbowl so all the players who are honored can be present.

It was great! Alec B. did very well, actually had done his homework on some of his comments to the players.

Of course, I was happy! Aaron won the MVP and thought Cobb was a hoot. What a kid, youngest in NFL, born in 1990, saying, you people wouldn't know my name if I had listened to my coach and NOT run the ball back!

I caught the last 15 minutes of it, wish I had known about it earlier, looked like a great show.
