Patriots played very well! Am giving credit where credit's due here.

Some interesting stats here from yesterday's game, here's two of them. The Patriots had 35 first downs in the game which is a club record. Also as far as total plays in the game New England had 89 of them. That is a BUNCH of plays.

444 yards of total offense and the quick play setup worked well. Denver was obviously caught a tad flat footed regarding this type strategy from coach Belichick. And what killed the Broncos, out of 444 yards of total offense, 251 of them were on the ground.

Got away with that one! Pats have some work to do for sure, but a win is a win. They have to tighten up that secondary.......Rodney Harrison,Ty Law and Lawyer Milloy, you guys happen to be in NFL shape???

Any thoughts on the Pats pick up of troubled CB Aquib Talib?

I think its a good pick up if he has his head on straight, because the kid can flat out cover. Will the PATS let him play the style of CB he is used to is the question. Look at Namdi Ashomuga in philly as the perfect example of a guy who is playing out of sorts as an example.

I love the move, and I believe the Hoodie will allow him to play his game out there. Hopefully Talib will put all that other "stuff" behind him and just play his position. The Pats need a little attitude from their CBs.

Gronk out for a month or so, hope Hernandez is good to go soon! Think they are OK without the Gronker for awhile, and he should be back in time for the playoffs. Liked what I saw from the defense yesterday, they must have a ton of takeaways this year already. Talib showed some good, and showed some bad as well, and Ninkovich is looking like the 'ol # 50 from not too long ago.........Vrabel. All in all, I like where they are at this juncture.

I'm not very worried about being Gronkless. I'm just a little nervous of only 3 days rest inbetween games.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone from "America's Hometown"!

Like where your head is at, but the Pats secondary is still quite vulnerable......... T.Y.Hilton put up 2 scores and 100 yards against them last week. Pats D-line on the other hand, may be what wins this game.
