Reports are that Amendola has a groin injury...but the guy has always been brittle, so it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't last the season..

Question is, if he's not 100% who does Brady rely on? Edelman?

Brady must be going nuts he doesn't have the welkers/Gronks/Hernandez's to throw to....

I was serious when I said can they get Randy Moss or even Chad Johnson back for the season - but I think Chad may be happy with his fantasy football forecasting job

Seriously it's pretty slim. Vereen may not play, Sudfeld looks like he's out, so it's really juse Edleman, the new TE hoomanawanui and Ridley (who I thought had a good game despite the fumble).

I think going against a rookie QB and a banged up Jets Pats will eek it out but it's going to be close.

Vereen is not going to be playing. He had surgery yesterday and reports are he will be out for a few weeks. So as of now it appears he will be back in time for the trip out to Cincinnati.

This means Ridley is going to have to step up and run well against the Jets and hold onto the football.

Amendola will probably play. One of the good things about playing on Thursday is that he will get an addition 3 days of rest before they play Tampa Bay. Amendola may have some injury problems, but you cannot question his toughness. He came back last season after his collar bone break he came back pretty fast.

One thing to note is that the defense played pretty well against the Bills the other day.

Amendola will most likely NOT play.

As time goes on and as I compare Pats vs Jets injuries I'm feeling better about Pats chances. Also Brady v Geno in a crunch time, I think it's obvious who has the experience to get out of a tough situation.

Still should be close though

I am not super worried about the Pats just yet as I am confident that BB and Brady will find a way.. the one thing that stood out from Sundays game was Bradys completion percentage and yards per attempt. Both were about as low as I can ever remember from Brady...

I saw that he turned down 6 other teams. Wouldn't mind seeing him back in Foxboro. Still would take Troy Brown as well, the guy did everything he was asked to do................and then some.

Looks like Amendola could be out for six weeks. I'm starting to think not signing Welker and getting Amendola could be what dooms this season for the Pats.
