McB, you're arguing with a Patriots homer who claims that the Tuck Rule play against the Raiders is Karma payback from some game back from 1976.

Anywho, as you were... <reaching for the popcorn>

Pats signed a few folks last night......thinking that Trey Williams may be another Dion Lewis type back. We shall see. And a WR/KR Damaris Johnson, he's been outta work this year.....welcome. Do your job fellas!

Bounce back time for Pats....

Gave one away at the end last week, biggest injury in that game was Hightower, Denver had no success running the ball until Hightower went out.

Hopefully Collins plays tomorrow, we need one of our All Pro Linebackers in there for Philly's running game.

Offensively, Brady should be able to put up points with the guys off the street he has right now, that Philly defense is horrendous....would be nice if Amendola back though

Pats 35-10

10-2 tied with the Broncos and Bengals. Looks like the race to the #1 seed is on.

Certainly didn't expect that ugliness. Quite a strange loss.

Two terrible special teams plays leading to TD's. Brady forcing a pass only to have it intercepted and returned for a TD.

If there was to be a bump/ditch in the road, better to have it now than at the end of the season. Even though we may give up the #1 or #2 seed, other than a complete collapse the Pats will make the playoffs. At this point it's about getting healthy and finding our rhythm again. I recall a certain Giants team that caught fire at the right time and beat some undefeated team in the SB. Well, maybe, that will be us this year (assuming Carolina continues on). Honestly though, for the past couple of weeks I've been very disappointed with Lafelle (and I like him). He really doesn't seem to finish routes, seemingly slowing down before the play is over. But, that's just one player.

We are spoiled as Pats fans. Back-to-back losses with the 2nd one at home seems like the end of the football world. But 10-2 is still solid, and (*crosses fingers ) maybe the O Line with settle down, and Gronk will come back, and Edelman too.

What happens if the pats win out? I know they lose the tiebreaker to Denver, but how about Cincy? (Say if Cincy beats Denver)

Odd loss indeed. All started with that quite strange drop-kick they did. It vexes me......I'm terribly vexed.

Big win down in Houston tonight. They clinched a playoff spot and are now slotted in as the #1 seed in the AFC.

The defense played great and completely negated another blunder on special teams. 6 sacks and forced some big three and outs. Hopefully they can keep the momentum going next week at home against Tennessee to lock up the East.

2 more wins and you have to think that should be good enough to get a #1 or #2 seed. That loss last week to Philadelphia is really hurting us now.

Of course we saw some more guys leave the game via injury. Hopefully they're nothing too serious.

It was a great win but that loss to Philly isn't hurting them anymore at all...

Denver has Pittsburgh and they play Cincy

Cincy is likely without Dalton for at least a couple of weeks if not the season...

Pats are in pole position for the number 1 seed and it highly unlikely they give it up now
