Default Tom Brady out already!

Brady left in the first half after a hit to the left knee. No updates yet on severity. Tough way to start. But, Cassell did come in and pilot a 99 yard drive for a TD.

I saw a photo of the hit and it didn't look good. I'll be very surprised if it isn't a pretty serious sprain, or torn cartilage/mcl/ or lcl.

Personally I can't stand Brady or the Patriots, but I never like to see anyone get hurt beyond the normal hits and roughing up of a football game. Hopefully he's not hurt bad at all and will be right back in the mix next week.

Unfortunately I drafted him in the 1st round on 1 of my Yahoo fantasy teams. Fortunately it was 1 of 3 of my Yahoo teams.

More importantly, there's a report on ESPN that Vince Young was getting suicidal or some crazy stuff.

Default Never Started since HS

how does someone who never started since Highschool end up in the NFL. This is not sarcstic, I really want to know. A few years back the quarterback for the Oregon duck took the team to the Rosebowl, I think in 1993, he did not even get drafted as a back up. Now this new QB of the Pats is the new starter for the NE Pats. How does that happen. If you don't play in College, can you just walk on or something in the NFL like a try out or something.

^^^I believe Brady's high school coach made a video showing clips of Brady from certain games and sent it to several smaller schools, and a Michigan Wolverines scout picked it up and became interested.

oh my bad. But I assume it was a similar position. Sometimes, you never know when a scout is going to show up.
