Pats defense and special teams were dominant. Offense did their job and Brissett looked comfortable. Incidentally, Brissett offers something that neither Brady not Garoppolo have, he can run. That gave the Houston defense something else to worry about last night. With the right coaching he has a very bright future.

So, are the Pats going to play Julian as QB? Brady is suspended, and Jimmy and Jacoby are both injured..who else they got for the QB position against Buffalo?

Belichick could play, or I could, or anyone else

This is going to be embarrassing as a Bills fan if they throw out an injured QB or WR and the Bills still lose.

So Rex Ryan is spouting off again about the New England Patriots, talking some smack after the Bills win today.

Hey Rex, we just want you to know that Bill Belichick has been thinking about you and your brother. He's brought in three potential QB's to start next week in your honor.

You know, the time to talk smack is after you done something.

The Bills have lost 23 of the last 25 games against the Patriots. That's not merely bad - that's historically abysmal. That's slink-off-in-shame embarrassing.

Smack talk is a privilege that is earned. The Bills had a very nice win today against a really good team. But they're 1-2. They only team they've earned the right to talk smack to is the Cardinals. And for this week only.

Frankly, it's pitiful when a team with a losing record that hasn't come close to the playoffs this century is talking smack against a team that goes to the playoffs every single year. That's not a Bills thing or a Patriots thing - it's not-being-a-douchebag thing.

What exactly did he say that was so inflammatory?

Interesting, because I have noticed that Belichick does not waste time trash talking. Does he prefer to focus on business instead?
My question, has anyone read any of the books about the coach,
such as

https://www.amazon.com/Strategy-Conc.../dp/B013WCW31G

OR
https://play.google.com/store/books/...YIag&gclsrc=ds

I ask because I am getting them, I am putting together a presentation about how Belichicks principals can be put into practice for business success.

Never mind that most NFL teams are not there either.

I've read the first one. It is ok, but really nothing more than a collection of quotes Belichick has given the media over the years with the author's expounding on it in their own way.

Haven't seen an egg like that in a long time.

Buffalo was good, but putting up only 16 points is sort of a push with their offense versus our defense.

Our offense was terrible, and their defense played really good.

That was getting pounded on both ends of the ball. No excuses there. The Pats were manhandled today. I put the most blame on bad play calling and Brissett. He did not look like he came to play today IMO.
