If they stay healthy and Denver does not get home field advantage.......don't see why not.

As a very long time Pats fan, this is the first season I can remember where optimism was so high so early in the season.

We are a tough team who has scratched and clawed every season to prove others wrong and silence the haters, so it seems different with everyone passing the trophy to us this early.

Anyway, I hope the Pats stay healthy. Buona fortuna.
The New England schedule looked pretty tough back on September 1. NFC-West had Arizona picked to make the Super Bowl and Seattle. AFC-North had division winner Cincinnati and Pittsburgh along with the Ravens. The division winner schedule so the AFC-South and AFC-West division winners. Houston had traded for a better QB and Denver had just won the Super Bowl. In the AFC-East, the Jets had gone 10-6 and Buffalo and Miami both looked strong.

It's the funny thing about schedules. Teams have injuries. Teams implode.

I hear you! Everyone had the Packers as having the easiest schedule last year! If you have gaping holes in certain areas, easiest schedule doesn't mean much!

Of course, I'm still hoping for a Pats and Pack SB but since they blew the championship game in 2014, not seeing it!

Belichick making great moves and on some blogs, fans whining already!

If it weren't for the unfortunate impending messy Butler "divorce" I would be over the moon instead of merely ecstatic about how this offseason is turning out....

Yes, they are, and other teams fans are whining about it already! It is funny, to me at least!

if brady and belichick are still playing hungry and with an edge this coming year.....we should do well

patriots always play better as underdogs..... not the expected no 1 spot...

patriots are the king of the hill ......everyone will be highly motivated to knock you off the hill..

they have to play a superbowl type game every weekend..
that's how teams play them

they have a tough schedule this yr....

I think they will lose a couple games early ,,,then come back,,,...that's how belichick and brady likes it

I remember when they played the giants going into the game undefeated,,,,, the giants were motivated the patriots were not they got complacent,,,,,,,, they cant get complacent this year

Yep, can happen and Giants can do it! They beat Packers in the Division round after Pack won the SB. They were 15-1 in 2011 lost to the Giants! They were totally unprepared, caught off guard, played poorly. Pats are the target this year.
