Are any of u Pats fans gonna miss LeGarrette Blount? I thought he did well last year...well except that bad fumble in the Superbowl. I know he is an older running back but he seemed to add a lot of value when playing with the Pats. And who will take pics with the minutemen now after TDs.

Mike Gileslee was a TD machine on the Patriots farm team last year. I wouldn't sweat it

With training camp open, it's nice to have (again) the Patriots setting out to defend their SUper Bowl title. All the 19-0 chatter is rubbish. But as I sit here now, on paper, without the teams finalizing their rosters, the Pats certainly look to be in a great position to repeat. Of course there is injuries and other variables, but this long ride of success just never gets old.

I don't see 19-0 myself but I do see them locking up homefield and I see 3 or 4 potential L's on the schedule. New England won't be any worse than 12-4 for sure.

How about the Pats bringing out the baby goats in Brady jerseys and the giant GOAT sign?

Pretty cool....

Edleman is feared lost with an ACL injury suffered in last nights preseason game. It was game#3, likely the last one he would have played in before the season starts.

This is still a very loaded Patriots team. Gronk, Cooks, Hogan, Gilleslee, White, Lewis. I do think this makes it more critical that Gronk has a healthy year where he is available for all 16.

I know we're loaded, but boy was I excited at the possibility of seeing Cooks just an addition to Brady's targets instead of now being more of a replacement. Edelman and his slot genius would have made it better for Cooks to stretch the field. Hopefully Amendola will have a big year in the slot as Julian's replacement.

Yeah it is a bummer thankfully Pats do have the depth at WR, TE and running back to overcome the injury to Edelman...but he did bring a unique skill set.

Amendola can do many of the same things and is certainly clutch but nowhere near as quick in and out of cuts...also not very durable

I think Hogan is poised for a breakout year and now will be seeing even more targets, if Mitchell can get healthy this is still a loaded WR corps with the best QB in NFL history to distribute the ball

Will be interesting to see if Carr now makes the team...

Yeah Hogan should be the biggest benefactor here. He could have a very good year.
