Another year with Brady/Belichick, another AFC Championship game to watch *yawn*

Unbelievable how this team continues to play at this level for so many years. I was at the game last night, and it was wire-to-wire championship level play. Love it. Bring on the Steelers or Jaguars.

Not for nothing, but I might be in the minority, but I loved hearing Romo go through how Belicheck was thinking during the game...I didn't realize that Tennessee wasn't a team that shuffled their defensive players out that much, and the Pats exposed that by throwing alot of passes & 2. quick plays to tire the defense out...

It worked...just really nice to hear the analysis during the game.

I am just the opposite. I HATE listening to Tony Romo. I don't even want to watch the game because of him.

I'm with you, I don't understand the Romo lovefest, I find him annoying as h3ll. He just comes as across as too smug for me

So as much as I dislike the Steelers and was pulling for the Jax upset during the game, now I am kind of wishing we were playing the Steelers.

Brady would have ripped that Steelers D to shreds as he usually does but the Jax defense is no joke (though Pitt did just hang 42 on them)

I can't see Bortles playing so well 2 games in a row though...I would be shocked if Jax can score even 20 on the Pats

It doesn't matter who we play. I've learned over this incredible dynastic run that Belichick makes that thought process of wishing for a particular team irrelevant. He adjusts each week to the next game up. He understands the matchups, the advantages (on paper) of his opponent, and Krafts a game plan accordingly. I think the track record of the Brady/Belichick era speaks for itself and proves my point.

It's pretty much absurd sitting here and saying the Pats are going to their 7th straight AFC Championship game. So much for parity.

It does matter who we play and that has been borne out over time to anyone paying attention...

If you had to choose playoff opponents, Indy or Baltimore?.....

Pats own Indy, Baltimore not so much.....

New York Giants or Pittsburgh?

Giants own Patriots, Patriots own Pittsburgh...

We just saw it again last weekend with Tennessee, Titans are a Dick Lebeau coached defense, same defense Steelers still run....a defense that does not match up well with the Pats

If this run has shown us anything, it has shown that matchups matter and Pats match up very well with certain teams, styles, coaches and not so well with others. Jacksonville is a Coughlin team....NOT a good match up for the Pats.

I think the track record of the Pats in the playoffs proves my point.

Thats fair. He can be somewhat overwhelming. I like Aikman also, can't stand Buck...different strokes...

To each their own, but I've tired of the Steelers for now. The drama from last month notwithstanding. I'll admire their talent for sure. You see certain match ups so many times. I mean, would you have wanted to see the Bills again in the Divisional series? The Patriots beat up on them so much during the regular season, I was glad they at least made the playoffs.

It's worth noting there is only one team left that contended last season. I'm not taking anything for granted and expecting more of the same...I don't expect the Jaguars to be a cakewalk, but if you'd rather face an opponent you've beaten before as opposed to wanting rise to the occasion, you're already conceding, aren't you?
