I've said this several times on this team thread, this post is from 2011. And like I said on a different thread this morning--reports of the Patriots demise are fairly exaggerated--again.

In my area they switched the Pats/Dolphins game to the Bengals/Falcons. Last time I checked it was 38-zip Patriots at the start of the 4th quarter.

Miami just made the scoreboard. 7 points, at least they can say they weren't skunked. 2:06 left on the clock. I quit rooting for Miami when Shula retired.

The Patriots will never stay down, it's not their style.

What area of country are you Double? I'm in Ft. Myers and (thankfully) I got the game-most likely because they played Miami.

I think Gronk needs to quit now. Not because he's not a great player, but I saw fear in his eyes a few plays back. He has enough money.
And every tight to be afraid.

They are all after him, he's a target. Quit Gronk. Not because you are not a great player, but because you can still think. Just my humble opinion.

Even Brady is smart enough (as the protected king in this game of chess) to throw the ball to the shorter players...
Get out of the game. Not at the end of the year as you stated, but now.

I couldn't believe Vinetari missed that field goal! Then one of the voices said he missed quite a few in practice. Hmmph, I would not have expected that from him after the many games he won for us but I'll take it since he's "the enemy" now.

At 3-2 after 5 games, lets not get ahead of ourselves. Lets see how the Chiefs/Jaguars game shakes out with a top defense against a top offense. With both these teams in the AFC as arguably current front runners, they are still the teams to beat at this time. We already lost to the Jags, and we'll see how we do against the Chiefs next Sunday night.

It was a fun & frustrating game to watch (was at the game). Gronk and Hogan's miscues gave Tom 2 INT's he didn't necessarily deserve. The defense gave up a lot of yards to the injured Colts. It was great seeing Jules get back at it, and having Gronk and Edelman together for the first time in quite a while. It was especially sweet having Gordon catch Brady's milestone TD (500 in career, and breaks the record of how many receivers have caught TD's from him, now 71).

THis offense could gel into something pretty special over the course of the season if everyone stays healthy. The defense still has some kinks to iron out.
