They are going to care. It will be a factor.

Chiefs are 5-1 against Patriots at Arrowhead Stadium.

Arrowhead Stadium set the Guinness world record for the loudest outdoor stadium during a September 2014 game between the Chiefs and the Patriots.

New England has not won a road playoff game since beating the Chargers 24-21 in the divisional round in the 2006 season.

Brady is 8-4 in AFC championship games, going 6-1 at home but 2-3 on the road.

Kansas City is 8-1 at home this season.

Since 2010 the Chiefs are 2- 5 in the playoffs

Since 2010 the Chiefs are 1-3 AT HOME in the playoff

Andy Reid is 12-13 all time in the playoffs, 1-4 in Conference Championships

Andy Reid has TWICE had 18 point leads at halftime and gone on to lose the game, all other coaches in NFL history combined have also lost TWICE with 18 point leads at halftime in the playoffs

Bill Belichick is 10-0 against first year QB's in the playoffs

Kansas City is 3-4 against teams that made the playoffs this year

Patriots are 6-0 against teams that made the playoffs this year

That was then; this is now. Brady’s not winning on the road. In his first year as a quarterback, Mahomes has already beat Brady‘s record for on the road touchdowns. And his numbers far surpass Brady’s first year stats.

Good luck Pats fans. Should be a great game. I've placed a ML bet on the Pats to win as part of my parlay today. I also love the over in this one. So if the parlay is still alive after the early game I might actually have to route for a Pats win.

Nah nah, boo boo! that's a raspberry.

And here I am telling people I can't wait to see this game. Telling people I like Mahomes....he's the next Tom Brady. Then you have fans like the above who can't be gracious. (again)

Outside of the last stat....

Which exactly of the points YOU made are not of the "that was then this was now" variety???

That one loss at home by the way came to a team the Patriots just absolutely WAXED

You know what I find really cute....

When a fan of the team with the ABSOLUTE WORST record of playoff futility in NFL history comes in here to talk smack...

A fan of a team that hadn't won a home playoff game in 25 years!!!!!!

A fan of the team with a coach who is one of the all time GREAT regular season coaches and all time WORST playoff coaches..

Dude stats are for losers....

Maybe Mahomes wins a SB this year he has a shot....but if he doesn't Brady's first full season will "far surpass" Mahomes in terms of success and and the only "stat" that matters...number of RINGS

Mahomes had the "prettier" stats in the last game (outside of the 2 interceptions) played between these 2 teams as well....how did that turn out for your team????

Seriously, if I were a Chiefs fan with all the history of playoff failures I would be more than a little nervous going up the greatest post season QB and coach in NFL history....but hey whatever floats your boat....

I will agree stats, home field advantage and the odds makers believe the Patriots will be going home as the losers today...........but a team that can come back from a 28-3 deficit in the third quarter of the Super Bowl and go into OT and win it is not a team that you can write off that easily.

As Patriots fans we know every game is a heart attack waiting to happen............just ask Seattle about Malcolm Butler

I am not one of those smack talking football fanatics who will unrealistically expel their last breath bragging on their team. I am just a proud Patriots fan who has seen a now 41 year old QB and a coach weave a dynasty from a hodgepodge group of players year after year consistently!

PS. My one vice as a Patriots fan is enjoying the displeasure Shannon Sharpe has when the Patriots especially Tom Brady pull of a stunning win.
