i really think that if new england is ripe for a shocking loss this is it. i mean this would be perfect for a letdown after beating the colts.

Hey you didnt think that the colts would lose to san diego did ya? Anything can happen in any given week in the NFL.

Just remember...

The Bills were literally crapping away their season when on a Monday night in Buffalo they intercepted Tony Romo 4 times and ALMOST lost.

That being said, with Marshawn Lynch out, Losman being Losman, Pats still win. Wouldn't be surprised if it were like Week 2...

Another reason I go 34 to 9 on this one is Don Shula is running his mouth again. I'm sure the Patriots are taking notice of him-AGAIN.

Not only is Don Shula running his mouth but I also saw the other big mouth Mercury Morris running his. And his mouth is bigger then Shula's

Im a patriots fan from way back in the early 80s. We sucked for too many years so Im enjoying this. That said, I will never ever bet money for them or against them. Guess I still have superstitions. Living in Vegas the opportunity to bet is always there. I bet on all the other games instead.

So Patsfan, I guess you found that keychain. Nice prediction, French. 56-10 or something like that.

Guess the OP's question has been answered. A few of these threads about the Patsies have had posts that say it's usually a lousy team that finally beats the juggernaut. I'm guessing it's more likely that it just seems that way because those big upsets are the ones that really stand out. Hmmm, now that I've said that, watch the Dolphins be the ones to knock them off.

Buffalo should really be embarrassed. That was a shameful performance on their part. They should at least TRY to stop the Patriots, or try to field an offense.
