As we are getting multiple threads on every angle of Peyton Manning I'm going to do what I've done in the past with other quarterbacks, I'll lock the other threads and all comments will be directed here. Right now there are 4 different threads going on him. We're going to have just one-this one.

I've made this a "sticky" and will keep it that way till this whole thing subsides. The only Manning thread I'll keep open for now is the poll thread (which team should Manning sign with). When he signs with a club I'll eventually close it as well.

Why would the Broncos want Manning when they have Tim Tebow...he's gonna be better than Manning, you'll see! Mmm this Kool-Aid is really good Mrs. Tebow...what did you say was in it again?

Will the winner of the manning race be a winner or a looser?

IMHO...That much money...that serious an injury...one bad hit can agrivate the injury...I think a looser...

I really hope he doesn't go to the 49ers, I would feel way too bad for Alex Smith, what I don't get is why would they push for someone else after such a successful "coming back" season?

Bad for Alex if he does, especially after all the Harbaugh praise "he's our guy", etc., so now he isn't their guy and Manning is? Alex has had a rough road and would he have to sit on the bench or be let go???

Whoever gets him should be a winner and not a LOSER. He would definitely improve most teams but if he goes to San Fran that would be a real slap in the face for Smith. As far as Denver goes, we all now that Tebow is probably not the answer at QB there or anywhere else. It's probably moot though because i'm hearing that Denver is most likely out of the running now too.

I want him to make his decision! I'm one of those "quick draw McGraw" types, when I want a decision I want it NOW!!!

I think it would be too much of a circus if he would choose Denver, but what do I know, just guessing!

Unfortunately I agree with you about Denver. Alex Smith is rumored to be talking to the Dolphins and the 49ers signed Mario Manningham. Pretty strong indications that the Broncos will once again be starting their fullback masquerading as a QB and Bronco fans will get treated to another year of craptastic football.
