So you say. Peyton Manning apparently thinks differently. When the Jets made an offer to him, he turned them down. Nobody forced him to sign with the Broncos; he chose Denver. And it doesn't seem likely that he would deliberately choose to sign on with a bad team. In his mind (if not yours), he seems to think that the Broncos are going to get something accomplished with him calling the plays.

Broncos are not a bad team, not by any stretch. Peyton is very deliberate, does his due diligence, and believes he can contribute. One player leaves and the team is very bad, I don't think so.

Luck is expected to become a good/great NFL QB. Others have been predicted to do well in the NFL and were flops. I think compared to Luck, Manning is a sure thing. I'd have to pick Peyton for 2-4 years, even though I hate to think what's going to happen then.

It's always possible we can pickup another star in the next few years, or maybe even create one. Remember, we didn't draft Elway; we acquired him in a trade. Many (most?) great QBs were acquired through trades or later draft picks.

The Defence is one injury away from bad .
I think they are 5 years out from good.
Bad teams dont make the playoffs and they definitely do not win playoff games.

A great QB can make average receivers look very good.

Eric Decker is a very good receiver. I think he is going to become one of the better receivers in the league. Thomas has potential as well.

Despite finishing 20th in the league because their offense couldnt stay on the field, their defense isnt too bad.

All options are a question mark, but Manning costs a fortune and handicaps the organization in a huge way if he doesn't pay off.
Manning at even 75% is still one of the best QBs in the league. The QB position is really thing right now.
