Anyone following this story?

Well, if you haven't, it starts with OJ losing all his memorabilia (and more) brought on by a wrongful death suit from the Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown families.

So I guess he decided a few days ago he wanted his stuff back. So he walked right into the casino, robbed it of his stuff, and walked out.

Is it just me, or is this considered robbery everywhere else in the world except in the mind of Orenthal James?

I don't know. Isn't the American Dream to start out in the ghetto and to put down a life of drugs, burglary, and murder to become a famous Sports Star and Movie Star?

This guy's life is like a country song running forward.

Like everything else that has to do with OJ latelty, It can't get more bizzare. This is a quote from the guy that OJ supposedly took the items from......
I want this thing to go away. I have health problems," said Alfred Beardsley, the collector who told police on Thursday that Simpson and several other men stormed a Las Vegas hotel room and stole memorabilia at gunpoint. Beardsley, of Burbank, Calif., told The Associated Press he is not interested in pursuing the case.
Maybe OJ sent him a couple of snapshots of Nicole and Ron along with a couple of snapsots of the "DREAM TEAM" and some of the jury I saw the first interview that Beardsley gave and had a gut feeling that something was wrong with this story from the begining. Anyone else have the same feeling? Also say to yourself (IN YOUR BEST OJ Voice) "I DID NOT DO THAT", you'll be hearing that a lot.

My personal opinion is that he shouldnt have even HAD this chance to rob anyone. He's supposed to be locked up!

Well, he's been arrested, so there!

He's really had a screwed up life since his acquittal, with the book, interviews and now this...

O.J. Simpson arrested...... uh......um....well................................ .............................what can ya say about that?

If he's found guilty, he'll probably just get 5 or 6 years....right?
I mean, this is NOTHING compared to what he was convicted of in '94.
It really doesn't seem like people even care about this one. No one here around campus has even mentioned it yet.

Unless I'm missing some key facts, the robbery charge won't stick because 1) he actually believed those items were his and 2) they were.

He may get stuck with the assault charge and if there was a weapon involved, this may be aggravated. No jail time for Orenthal IMO. Probation maybe.

Never a dull moment when Orenthal is around. He seems to be enjoying the attention, almost encouraging it.

I always felt that it was Orenthal who killed Ron and Nicole, but OJ who was on trial.
