I just hope they are patient enough with him and maybe draft a little more help for the offensive line. That was another factor for Marino,a great line. When Richmond Webb was drafted he eliminated all sacks from the left side.No one was getting past him.

Henne is REALLY progressing as a QB. 17 STRAIGHT completions yesterday! And the guy has a cannon for an arm!!!

Go Chad Henne!

Thank you Michigan Wolverines for producing such a fine NFL QB.

Pennington knew he was there to groom Henne and had no problem with it.I wouldn't be surprised if they brought him back as the backup or if he retired.

He did? So if CP hadn't gotten injured, do you think they would have brought in CH anyway at some point this season? Guess it would have depended on if Miami was winning games or losing games. I have no connection to Miami but I've always liked them going back to the Don Shula days (I know I'm aging myself here).

Nothing wrong with the Shula years.Eventually he had to go because he was not adapting to the changing game.As far at CP goes, they wanted him to step aside eventually anyway but yes it did depend obviously on how the season went.

Henne is developing into a solid starter and a franchise QB. I wouldn't call him the next Marino. Atleast he's not the next John Beck.....(?)

Michigan Qbs = not bad pro Qbs

Shula was a fantastic coach; one of the BEST ever. But like others have said, the game was passing him by. Regarding whether CH would have been brought in if CP hadn't been injured... I think that would have depended upon how CP performed. CP is definitely a good QB, but he doesn't have the potential of Chad Henne. CH is looking like a franchise QB. No Dan Marino (yet), but he is really looking good/great at this point in his career. He has a rocket for an arm, is a big guy (linebacker sized), and doesn't give up. Things are looking good for the Dolphins in the future as far a QBs go.
