Ho. Lee. Crap.

Receiver Justin Blackmon, picked fifth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars in April's draft, was arrested for aggravated DUI early Sunday in Stillwater, Okla., the Tulsa World reported.

The 22-year-old Blackmon was booked into the Payne County Jail at 10 a.m. CT, the newspaper reported. Under Oklahoma law, a driver's blood alcohol level must be .15 or higher to be charged with aggravated DUI.

It is the second DUI arrest for the former Oklahoma State star, who also was arrested in 2010 in Texas on a misdemeanor DUI charge.

The Jaguars traded up two spots to take the 6-foot-1, 207 pound Blackmon with the No. 5 pick in the 2012 draft, hoping to add a franchise receiver to an offense that ranked last in the league in 2011.

He blew a .24! Three times the limit. It also took him a while to pull over. This certainly won't help his contract negotiation. And he can't sue the excuse that this was a one time mistake as this is his second in two years.

Just plain dumb.

Why do these young stars risk millions for the sake of saving a $20 cab ride or paying a limo driver a couple hundy?

Had the Browns not grabbed Richardson, this was the guy I wanted them to get. We need receivers badly. However; it appears that he has some character issues, so I guess it's a good thing that we didn't get him.

I echo ScoPro's sentiments. Why couldn't he call a cab or rent a limo? Just flat out stupidity!

Yeah, alcohol is not cheap in clubs and bars. I blew $35 on alcohol on the weekend of the Kentucky Derby and I only had Bud Lights.

Really shortsighted to not set aside an extra $20 to have a cab to prevent a much more expensive DUI.
