I know the networks wouldnt drool over this but I would like to see either a Kenny Chesney or Toby Keith halftime show----I know its not the preferrable genre----but it wouldnt generate a lot of controversy and have network censure people scrambling.

Since the 90s is making a comeback, I would love to see a super show with Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Soundgarten, and a couple of others.

Seriously though, why not someone heavy like Slayer? We've seen the Bon Jovi's and all the pop groups so lets change it up a little.

What a hoot! Sure can tell no serious NFL info to discuss until training camps start or roster reduction deadlines!

I was thinking of Millie Vanillie when I watched Kenny Chesney perform on the Today show last week. Lip synching all the way. He probably didn't have a choice with the crappy arrangements they had for him and limited space for equipment.

Why must we have a music performance? Why must halftime last for 30 minutes? How about keeping a football game about football? Introduce the latest players inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame with some film clips, maybe. Or just keep the halftime to 15 minutes and treat it like any other game -- a recap, some replays, etc. Don't ruin my football day with crap I have no interest in seeing, and for gawd sakes, don't change the game by lengthening the halftime.
