Time for a slight upgrade but that logo is hideous.

I think their desire to sell more apparel is warping their common sense a little bit. The dolphins have a unique logo (and colors) that stand out. Why change it?

What 'new one'?

The one they have now has been around since '96. Hardly "new".

You must be talking about the stadium logo, it's NOT the proposed. If anything, it's gonna be pretty much the same logo you see, only without the helmet.

Thanks for clearing that up

The current logo could use one update. Give the Dolphin a helmet with the correct Dolphins logo... not a generic "M"

Or just get rid of the helmet all together. (that's what's proposed, anyway).

Besides, it's not the 70's anymore. Helmets on football mascots.... c'mon.

I like the old logo. The new proposed one that I saw, ....not so much

I realize that this is a marketing/sales idea, thinking that something new will get the fans to buy it. I have probably close to a hundred items from shirts jackets hats all the way to Christmas ornaments with the Dolphins logo on it. I have enough Tshirts to wear a different one every day and have some left over. I would still support the team, but if I did not like the new logo, I would be unlikely to buy anything depicting it.
