Default In a clutch pressure playoff game give me Eli over Peyton.

Peyton isnt even a .500 win postseason quarterback. That is just pathetic for someone who is as great as he is. Greatest regular season QB of all time perhaps.

As much as I hate the gints. Eli is clutch as hell and proved it vs the patriots

But Eli has also always had good players around him, as well as Ben Rothlisberger. Tom Brady mostly has himself and the Belichicks playbook.

The problem with Peyton, and this is from a longtime Colts fan, is that the Colts were built to play with the lead with him. They built up the offense to take the lead and the defense was an afterthought. In 2006 when we won the Super Bowl, we had the worst defense in the league until the postseason. But during the playoffs, it's much harder to build and sustain a lead. I think Peyton could have been even greater if the Colts would ever have tried to give him a defense that could help him out. Also, you probably know Peyton is the king of last minute game-winning drives. Why do you think he had to make so many of those? Horrible defense.
