I am with Manderly6 in that Chris Johnson has been living off of reputation since his 2000 yard season. Let's face it: the team's offensive system with Chris Palmer does not fit his running style. It's a bad match for this season. I was at the Titans game this past week and did not like the way he ran towards the gaps where his blocks were earmarked, and the running lanes he is supposed to hit.

Fantasy football is all about consistent performances. I tend to avoid taking these types of players, such as Santana Moss, who has 3 TDs one week, then disappears for 5 games. Running backs are even more vital when it comes to maintaining statistical consistency.

Well my own question was answered. Guy said hell naw. Still open to the original deal though.

3-8 weeks. From a fantasy perspective that is huge.

It is for that reason I tend to avoid receivers on New Orleans, Brees has a tendency to spread the ball around and you never know who his favorite target is going to be week to week.

This coming week I am wondering if I should start Matt Ryan vs. Denver or Alex Smith vs. Detroit. Probably won't be all that big a difference, but I imagine Denver's defense will be harder to score against over Detroits.

I know it was just one week, but are people believers in Ridley (RB -NE) yet? I'm considering starting him over Reggie Bush...

I don't think they will be much different in the end. I would probably go with Brees. They are going to be out for blood after losing week 1.
