Yeah, they made the Jets offense look incredible. For one week at least, the Jets answers all questions about Sanchez not having enough offensive weapons...

The turnovers killed the Bills today. They had more yards than the Jets, but those 3 turnovers and the punt returned for a TD did them in.

Most impressive:

Washington over New Orleans. RG3
Dallas over Giants. Romo & Co looked great
San Francisco over GB - Dominant.

NFL 2012 Week #1

Dal @ NYG -- NYG 34-17 >> Dal 24-17 - Romo, Murray with good performances to stun NYG at Met Field

Ind @ Chi -- Chi 31-16 >> Chi 41-21 - After slow start, Culter on fire - 20-23, 320 yards
Phi @ Cle -- Phi 26-10 >> Phi 17-16 - Vick, Eagles avoid upset; INTs available at huge discounts
StL @ Det -- Det 37-31 >> Det 27-23 - Lions hold on, Rams will be pesky this year with Fisher
Mia @ Hou -- Hou 38-13 >> Hou 30-10 - 21 pts. in the last 2:00 of 1st half seals fate
Atl @ KC -- KC 20-17 >> Atl 40-24 - Strong 2nd half makes Gonzales' homecoming sweet
Jax @ Min -- Min 20-13 >> Min 26-23 OT - Young QBs solid on both solid, Peterson w/ good effort
Was @ NO -- NO 33-21 >> Was 40-32 - Griffin impresive, outplayed Brees
Buf @ NYJ -- Buf 16-12 >> NYJ 48-28 - Was this the Jets offense or the Bills defense?
NE @ Ten -- NE 27-21 >> NE 34-13 - Titans overmatched

Sea @ Az -- Sea 27-23 >> Az 20-16 - meh, this could have went either way
SF @ GB -- GB 34-24 >> SF 30-22 - Defense has solid effort for SF
Car @ TB -- Car 28-17 >> TB 16-10 - Cam is good but 10 yards rushing won't cut it

Pit @ Den -- Pit 28-24 >> Den 31-19 - Manning outduels Big Ben, defense seals victory

Cin @ Bal -- Bal 30-20
SD @ Oak -- Oak 23-20

--------------------------------------------

Geez - 6-8 to this point. Like Vick, I had no preseason. I won't hang my head.

Interceptions came in bunches yesterday - I think I got one.

Except for the end of the Sea/Az game - no major referee incidents, there are still two games to go, however.

Big winners - Redskins and RG III, 49ers on the road, Cowboys on the road, Broncos with vintage Manning

Big concerns - Buffalo's defense, Saints coaching staff

Yeah agreed. If Washington and the Cowboys are for real (which I'm inclined to believe at this moment)... the already strong NFC just got stronger, which is pretty scary.

Manning looked good, and I missed seeing him audible like crazy and read defenses. I would love to get inside his head during a play. I hope he becomes an analyst after his career, not because of his personality, but just because of his football mind. I feel like I would learn a TON from hearing him break down a play, whereas most of the 'jacked up' crowd on ESPN are just meatheads stating the obvious.

San Fran looked very strong.

^^^San fran with a big win.

Da Bears pretty much dominated a rebuilding Indy so not getting too excited but it was nice to see them protecting Cutler and the Bears offense running amok.

I'm really looking forward to Thursday nights game vs. the pack. Would be great to start them in an 0-2 hole and the playoff implications of that.

Indeed. If the bears come out of Thursday 2-0, they set themselves up REAL nice for the rest of the way. Long way to go, but getting a W vs the Pack would go a long way.

Forte is just such an athlete. Too bad he sucks in short yardage situation, or else he could pad his stats even further
