Art passed away this morning at age 87

Sports - CBSSports.com Sports News, Fantasy Scores, Sports Video

I have been reading the Browns' message board to read their reactions and most of them are celebrating Art's death and wants to pee on his grave, really pathetic...

I know Cleveland has a great case for hating Art Modell but have some respect for him as a human being and his family who is grieving dammit!

If you hated someone in life, its ok to hate them in death (like the saying, just b/c they died doesnt make them a saint) but yeah I think you should give them a grace period before you start dancing on his grave.

And I was thinking of posting that the second most hated man in Cleveland died. Wasn't he the guy who packed up and moved an NFL team in the dead of night? Actually, let me correct the above, THE MOSTE HATED MAN IN CLEVELAND. Labron left Cleveland leaving behind a whole basketball team. Art stole an entire NFL team from a city where they resided for many decades, even before the current NFL was created (combined with the AFL). When NFL teams move, there's usually some talk before allowing the community a chance to keep the team. Not with the Art and the Browns, now the Ravens.

It's true. Clevelanders hate Art Modell more than Lebron James.

The curse is broken, time for them to win a Super Bowl.

I respect Browns fans. They're loyal non-bandwagon fans much like Saints fans for the decades of losing seasons.

We don't like Art Modell or anything he stands for. Do you need some clarification on why?

Check out Baltimore fans and how they speak about the late Robert Irsay.
