Sand Dog over Tenn (A solid home win)
San Francisco over Detroit (Harbaugh has a great squad this year)
Denver over Atl (Manning pulls off a road squeaker)
8-6 (not counting Thursdays game or tomorrows). Several surprises this week. The picture becomes clearer as the season goes along. The officiating skewes some of these outcomes as well.

TB @ NYG -- NYG 27-17 >> NYG 41-34 - Giants make strong comback to avoid 0-2 hole
Az @ NE -- NE 31-14 >> Az 20-18 - Shocker of the day; Cards have won last 8 of 9 regular season games
Min @ Ind -- Min 24-20 >> Ind 23-20 - Luck drives Colts to GW FG in last :31
Bal @ Phi -- Bal 20-17 >> Phi 24-23 - Eagles 2-0, on pace for over a thousand turnovers by season's end

Cle @ Cin -- Cin 28-13 >> Cin 34-27 - Bengals bounce back; Weeden, Richardson give Browns hope
Hou @ Jac -- Hou 23-10 >> Hou 27-7 - Hou flying under the radar with two beatdowns to start season
Oak @ Mia -- Oak 27-20 >> Mia 35-13 - Bush is a WMD with 172 yards and 2 TD's

Dal @ Sea -- Dal 30-17 >> Sea 27-7 - Cowboys not ready to take next step
Was @ StL -- StL 27-24 >> StL 31-28 - Skins throw away chance for victory with late penalty
Ten @ SD -- SD 26-21 >> SD 38-10 - Someone please explain Chris Brown to me...
NYJ @ Pit -- Pit 20-10 >> Pit 27-10 - Jets grounded after 1stQ

Det @ SF -- SF 37-23 >> SF 27-19 - SF impressive on both sides of the ball

Den @ Atl -- Den 31-30

----------------------------------

9-6 to this point - nice to bounce back from bad to average.

Big winners - Eagles, Packers, Giants, Cardinals

Big losers - Saints, Chiefs, Raiders, Chris Brown, #15 for the Redskins

Weeden is the only rookie QB without a win.

Is NFC West turning into the power division after being weak for so many years?

Dal plays TB next week - will they teach Bucs' coach on end of game etiquette?

Incredibly surprised with the Cards' win over NE.

Cardinals' D is impressive.

Fun at .500: NFL sets record with 19 teams at 1-1

Heading into Monday night's frolic between the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons, a league-record 19 teams rest at 1-1. Barring a tie between Peyton Manning and Matt Ryan, that number will hit 20 by morning.

...
When (again, barring a tie) six teams sit at 2-0 on Tuesday, that figure will mark the fewest undefeated squads since the NFL expanded to 30 clubs in 1995.

...
Depending on your view, the NFL has either (a) come a long toward building competition or (b) watered down play at the expense of team dynasties and long-established circles of power.

Also, too many early injuries. Looks like Bucs and Browns will be in the Superbowl this year,
