The refs made the right call. Seahawks win; Packers lose. It happens. Move on.

Week #3

NYG @ Car - Car 28-20 >> NYG 36-7 - Giants win with backups; Panthers a no show

TB @ Dal - Dal 24-23 >> Dal 16-10 - Was anyone aware this game took place? Snooze city.
StL @ Chi - Chi 38-21 >> Chi 23-6 - Nothing to see here.
SF @ Min - SF 24-14 >> Min 24-13 - Ponder quietly having a nice sophomore year.
Det @ Ten - Det 33-17 >> Ten 44-41 (OT) - Titans first win aided by bonehead play call in OT
Cin @ Was - Was 31-24 >> Cin 38-31 - Dalton outshines RG III as Bengals pull away late
KC @ NO - NO 44-20 >> KC 27-24 (OT) - KC scores game's final 21 pts. for win
NYJ @ Mia - Mia 30-24 >> NYJ 23-20 (OT) - Jets survived missed FG in OT
Buf @ Cle - Cle 20-16 >> Buf 24-14 - Weeden, Richardson take a step backwards for the Browns
Jac @ Ind - Jac 20-14 >> Jac 22-17 - Hurry up offense - 1 play, 80 yards, 11 seconds, touchdown

Phi @ Az - Phi 23-16 >> Az 27-6 - Solid efforts from Kolb, Cards defense
Atl @ SD - SD 30-23 >> Atl 27-3 - Atl travels west and sits on the Chargers
Hou @ Den - Hou 27-24 >> Hou 31-25 - Lend me your ear - Texans are 3-0 for the first time ever
Pit @ Oak - Pit 27-10 >> Oak 34-31 - Inconsistent Raiders rise up and beat Steelers

NE @ Bal - Bal 21-16 >> Bal 31-30 - Smith overcomes death of brother earlier in the day for 217 reception yds. and 2TDs.

GB @ Sea - GB 34-27 >> Sea 14-12 - 8 sacks by Sea grounds GB; refs grant win on final play

Needless to say - but 5-11 is totally unacceptable and everyone will be given their money back this week. But if you look at it - Mia misses FG to win, Det screws up in OT, Saints blow an 18 point second half lead at home, and the refs on Monday night - that 4 wins that were possible - movin' on...

Big winners - All 3-0 teams (Hou, Atl, Az), Torrey Smith, Seahawk and Cardinal defenses, fans in Nashville who went to the Det/Ten game

Big losers - Saints, Browns, refs, fans in Dallas who went to the TB/Dal game

Notable under .500 - NE, GB, Pit, Den, NO, Det

To the NFL Suits - It's getting worse every week...

The talent in the NFL is even now. The difference between winning and losing is fairly slim these days. Coaching and pinpoint execution matter. In the old days, a 10-6 team that made the post season was just lunchmeat waiting to be served to the #1 or #2 seed; now the #8 can legitimately be a SB contender if they happen to get healthy in time and get a good draw. There are no layup wins anymore.

Which brings me to the next point: today's 0-3 team could be week 15's 12 and 3 team, or 11-4 team. Who knows what can happen.

Good point - see the 9-7 Giants from last year. It's about whoever is playing well at the end of the year.

Uh, no. Wrong call on the field and in the booth.

I'm not a Packers fan but I sure wouldn't want this to happen to my team next week.

Regardless of the refs decision last night, that was not a real win for the Seahawks and it will catch up with them

Im just wondering why you have to kick the extra point. In baseball, when the winning run come in in the bottom of the 9th its over, even if its bases loaded. Football should have the same rule. Caused insult to injury.

That's why the Packers should have never come back out. When a team scores from the line of scrimmage in OT they don't kick a extra point
