I was 8-5, but 100% on the two most important picks of the day.

We do appear to have a Sunday morning pick that missed but 1 game. My feelings of shifty, late-moment entrants with more info availabe than the pre-Thursday night picks should not bias the rules commitee decision in any way, I'll leave it to the commitee to make this ultimate decision on the week 5 champion(s). Plus I heard he was a communist.

Yes, yes, I agree wholeheartedly with the data scientist. Sunday morning entrants should be barred because ... well, because we say so ... and combine that with his association with communists should be enough for disqualification. Besides, I heard he kicks puppies for fun.

I slipped this week. I got 11 out of 14. Last week I was 12 out of 15.

Next week is going to be a really really hard week to pick. I am sure that I will get at least 5 of them wrong. Only outcome I already have set in my head is the Cowboys losing to the Ravens The Cowboys lose every week in my predictions

I'm hoping after this week, the Packers finally start to get their **** together. I don't think anyone on the team was blaming the refs fully for their problems, but what happened in week 5 was solely on them and I am hoping this will lead to some changes, or maybe they can identify what is truly wrong, whether offensively, defensively, mentally, morally, etc.

They need to right the ship in a hurry, totally out of synch. McCarthy didn't shed much light on it yesterday with his press conference. Benson is out, not good. I'm still on the fence whether Jennings out makes a major difference, he wasn't up to speed when he was playing. Hope they practice hard this week, a rough game on Sunday, here comes Week 6.

11-3, but it may not count according to some inept comments on here.

Bring on the 49ers.

Week 5

Az @ StL - Az 23-20 >> StL 17-3 - Fisher has the Rams playing gritty football

Mia @ Cin - Cin 27-17 >> Mia 17-13 - Although the records are different, these two teams seem pretty similar
GB @ Ind - GB 27-20 >> Ind 30-27 - Motivation for coach prompts 18 point comeback win
Bal @ KC - Bal 31-20 >> Bal 9-6 - Turnovers kill opportunity for upset for the Chiefs
Cle @ NYG - NYG 27-9 >> NYG 41-27 - Giants overcome early 14-0 deficit to plow the Browns
Phi @ Pit - Pit 26-23 >> Pit 16-14 - Vick fumbles away chance for victory
Atl @ Was - Atl 33-27 >> Atl 24-17 - RG III knock out of game; Falcons roll on to 5-0

Sea @ Car - Car 34-20 >> Sea 16-12 - Two teams that are hard to figure out; Seahawks with a good road win
Chi @ Jac - Chi 24-13 >> Chi 41-3 - Bears make easy work of Jags and their new uniforms
Ten @ Min - Ten 24-20 >> Min 30-7 - Vikes continue solid play; Titans, not so much
Den @ NE - Den 30-28 >> NE 31-21 - Manning, Broncos playing below the hype - Pats discovering balanced attack on offense
Buf @ SF - SF 30-13 >> SF 45-3 - 300 yards rushing and 300 yards passing for SF - Wow

SD @ NO - NO 41-34 >> NO 31-24 - Saints respond to Coach Payton in the building; Brees sets consecutive TD record

Hou @ NYJ - Hou 28-17 >> Hou 23-17 - Texans take care of business in tough road game; Watt/Foster are huge

Bye - Dal, Det, TB, Oak
--------------------------------

8-6 - another mediocre week

Big winners - Atl, Hou remain undefeated; NO gets first win; NE, SF, Min looking to separate from the pack; Ind wins one for the coach

Big losers - Buf, Jac, Ten look terrible; Den not as good as advertised; Vick's costly fumbles

Cle looked better - did not include them in the loser category this week - plenty of time for them to return to that list

KC, Phi can't seem to get out of their own way with the turnovers

Always a good week when the Cowboys don't play. Out of sight, out of mind.

Could you do me a favor? Could you wait one more week for the Packers to get their **** together?
Thanks so much

You're funny, too! Sorry but we really need it to be this week. No more messing around. I listened to Aaron's radio show, he was introspective and self critical but then he is not one to point at others and lay blame. He did say Cobby is faster than he expects, should have thrown to him instead of JJ on the interception.

He talked about JJ Watt, didn't seem overly concerned about him (I think he should be, probably is but wouldn't say as anyone can listen to the show)!
