This thurs night the steelers play at the tenn titans. Both teams played today so its a very short & tough week with maybe 1 day off (monday). The home team has the advantage cause they dont have to travel. I havent watched thurs night football in a few yrs or so cause i only have a rooftop anenna.

Ever Wonder Why College Games Are On Saturday & NFL Games Are On Sunday? | Saturday Down South
Thanks,
I knew that there had to be a reason like this one.
NFL is not going to stop showing games on Friday-Saturday just to be nice to High Schools and colleges.

Has nothing to do with being nice... more like protecting their farm system.

It would hurt the college football ratings, especially from TV markets with NFL teams.

Why would they? The NFL has built their entire fan experience on football being a Sunday activity in this country during fall and winter. Why would they go and mess with the juggernaut they have built?

How is it possible that someone in the US didnt know NFL games were mainly on Sundays? Have you been living under a rock?

I would not be a happy camper if they had NFL games in Saturday as that is when I watch my CSU Pueblo's football team just like I would not be happy if CSU Pueblo played on Sunday as that is when I watch the Broncos. Im sure I am not the only football fan who thinks this way.
