Yeah - I did notice team Orange has escaped unscathed to this point.

I guess I didn't think the collection of games were overly tough - and there haven't been upsets. I looked at a couple and thought everyone had a decent week.

Nope, not me, but then I'm not overly serious about this (except for the Packers)! I got stung by Bills last week so I picked them this week! I picked Panthers (don't like the Cowboys). All in all bad choices by me, already 5 losses.

10-2 not counting the Monday night game. By far a better week than any previous, but I think everyone had a better week this time around than before.

Yeah, I think I only had two wrong also, and the two I did (Buffalo and Washington) had late leads and couldn't hold on. Bummer.

I thought it was you that was perfect -- it was Mike - but the Jags let him down in the late game.

Amazing how we continue to be on the same page (except for one week). 10-2 also for me.

It's quite remarkable, though, how I could have been under .500 for the week! How many last minute turnarounds were there that favored me? The Jags pick went against me, but any of the others could have happened that way as well. The one that I am kind of proud about was picking the Titans on the road against the Bills, thinking they could continue to build momentum, and have the additional 3 days off to prepare.

If you go back into the pick history, I think Calico696 pretty much agreed with my picks. I don't think we disagreed on one of them.

Not exactly old buddy. I had CAR and you had DAL. We both had JAX and everything else the same.

Week #7

Sea @ SF - SF 24-10 >> SF 13-6 - SF retain hold of an increasingly tough division.

Was @ NYG - NYG 31-23 >> NYG 27-23 - Manning/Cruz late TD gets home division win; RG III nice job in loss
Az @ Min - Min 23-20 >> Min 21-14 - Vikes quietly rolling forward; Cards losing streak at 3
Dal @ Car - Car 35-30 >> Dal 19-14 - Someone had to win this game...
NO @ TB - NO 33-27 >> NO 35-28 - Saints may be starting to gather steam
GB @ StL - GB 27-24 >> GB 30-20 - Pack with another impressive road win, no hangover from beating Texans
Bal @ Hou - Hou 21-16 >> Hou 43-13 - No one expected Texans domination of Ravens
Cle @ Ind - Ind 27-17 >> Ind 17-13 -Colts win, struggle for consistency; Browns struggle for relevance
Ten @ Buf - Buf 30-20 >> Ten 35-34 - Bills defense at home can't stop lowly Titans down the stretch

NYJ @ NE - NE 34-7 >> NE 29-26 (OT) - Mistakes cost Jets important road win
Jac @ Oak - Oak 16-13 >> Oak 26-23 (OT) - Raiders come back late against Jags

Pit @ Cin - Pit 27-20 >> Pit 24-17 - Seems like Steelers are old, but they won't fade away

Det @ Chi - Chi 34-21 >> Chi 13-7 - Bears defense dominate Lions offense and force them to commit numerous turnovers

-------------------------------------------

Bye: Phi, KC, Den, SD, Mia, Atl

Big winners - Hou, Pit (road division win)

Big losers - Cam Newton, Bills defense again

Not many big stories from the weekend. In division matchups, home teams had unimpressive wins (SF, NYG, NE, Chi). Houston seizes control of the AFC home field race.

Luck's revenge - he was the only rookie QB to lose last week - he was the only rookie QB to win this week.

--------------------------------------------

11-2 this week - had 4th quarter leads in both losing games - let the good picks roll on to next week...
