I know why these these players are wearing pink shoes, hats, socks, gloves, etc... but come on already, enough is enough!

Never mind that more people die from prostate cancer than breast cancer. Then again, there's nothing sexy about prostates, and the NFL can't pretend to care about women if they have "Prostate Cancer Awareness Month."

By the way, I was totally unaware of breast cancer until the NFL made me aware of it. Thanks, NFL!

It's for a worthy cause. We need to keep the breasts on women as healthy as possible!

Curing breast cancer, or any cancer is a good cause.

Give money and time - great. Financing Nike's pocket by using pink equipment for a month - ???

Hopefully the apparel companies are sending all pink proceeds to the cancer support as well.

But I am weary of the pink...

I agree, it should be cancer awareness not singling out one type of it.

I thought it used to be one game during the month. Now it's every game. They are taking it too far. One game and it means something. Multiple games and it becomes annoying.

1. It reminds me of the AIDS ribbon from about 20 yrs ago...anyone remember the Seinfeld episode "He won't wear the ribbon!" Over done and insincere. Worn just to look like a caring person when in reality just wanting to follow the latest trend.

2. I feel so badly for all those millions of people out there with OTHER cancers, and OTHER diseases, how must they feel? Wow, too bad I didn't get breast cancer instead, that's the one everyone seems to care about.

I think it's ridiculous and embarrassing. STOP IT.

Seriously? You're complaining about the league showing support for cancer? What the hell is wrong with you guys? October is breast cancer awareness month, not prostate cancer awareness month.

People have worked hard to build it to what it is. If you are so concerned about other types of cancer then take the time to start something to bring awareness to it. That is why breast cancer gets the attention it does, people have worked hard and built a solid marketing plan that has worked tremendously.
