I just watched a Sports Science segment regarding the Saints' receiver that flipped the Bucs DB before scoring.

Does anyone else get annoyed with those segments, or is it just me?

They take a great play - super over-analyze it with a bunch of useless facts and numbers (some of which are questionable to me) - and it gets on my nerves.

I thought the show was interesting when they actually did experiments and had all of the equipment hooked up - but adding that on to a highlight just rubs me the wrong way.

Well, I can understand your point, but I have couple of friends who really arent that big into sports, and when they saw that segment they were seeking me out to talk about sports and football in general! Believe me, without that, we wouldnt be talking sports of any kind!

I like the one where Greg Jennings caught two passes at the same time ... 3x in a row.

I like it when they feature a player, their athletic ability and what it takes to be great in their sport. When they go to an over analyzing extreme on one play, not so much.

I can agree with that - even though I still question some of the numbers they come up with.

I don't care for Romo but how about Mark Sanchez and how he slid into his own player?? Patriots had what, 3 scores in less than a minute???
