Hey, it's that time of year in the NFL when certain teams look destined for a playoff birth and others look like they will watching them on TV. Yet, as we all know there is probably at least one team that looks like it will make the playoffs but choke and one that looks like a bunch of bench warmers that will go on a run and squeak out a playoff birth. I know it's a tough guess but which are those teams?

For me, I'll say the Eagles will find a way into the playoffs.

And the Ravens (maybe not a big surprise) will choke.

Titans to get into playoffs and the 49ers to miss it and you should rephrase the thread, Which current "losing team" will make the playoff and which current "winning team" wont?

Wow. Pretty funny. I imagine you get the drift from the context of it. How do you edit a thread title?

49ers have a verrry easy schedule left. They have a better chance to win their division than Greenbay has to win a wildcard spot. GB has a much tougher schedule.

The Vikings too have a rough road ahead. They play GB twice, Chicago twice and they play Houston and Seattle. They arguably have the roughest second half of the season.

SF has nothing to worry about. They are in.

The teams that might take a bullet in my opinion are GB, Vikings or Pittsburgh.

THE AFC west has so so teams that can make it to the playoffs based on easy scheduling. Oakland for example has 9 games left. 6 of those are to teams with losing records. three of those teams have a combined record of 4- 18. Throw in NOLA and they play teams with a combined record of 6 wins 23 losses.
Oakland, Denver and SD all have excellent chances at the playoffs

I still believe the saints will come back and make the playoffs

I don't see the Vikings making the playoffs at all

We're at the halfway point and anyones guess as to the playoff picture! Watching the Pack yesterday, I thought they might not make playoffs. After dominating for 2 games, they looked horrible playing a 1-6 team. Of course, there are many injuries but 2nd half schedule is scarey.

Big thing is this finally Falcons year? Can they do it? They were 13-3 in 2010 and Packers blew them away. They look like a more complete team now, but who have they been playing? The Bears have a good record but they can maintain it?

Many questions and I think it is too early to make serious predictions, especially the way this season is going.

Right now the Falcons, Bears, Giants, and Packers look like the legit teams in the NFC
