I know the Jets are starting Sanchez, but does anyone really think the way he's played this entire year he should be the starter? I think either McElroy or Tebow should start. Sanchez should be benched the rest of the year and let the other two compete for the job. I guess the only thing that Sanchez will do is to get the Jets a higher draft pick.

I'd say McElroy

but the jets paid sanchez a ton of money, so i guess they don't wanna look bad and will roll with him until the season is over.

I agree with you. I only wish that I had a qb like you have to root for.

If it were me, I'd go with McElroy again, Jets have really put themselves in a mess, more so than normal!

If Tebow had started here in Jacksonville today....we might have sold more tickets to a game we knew we would lose anyway.

Jets made 2 really stupid moves in the offseason - extending Sanchez when they lost the Manning-stakes, and trading for Tim Tebow. They're stuck with Sanchez next year, and he'll be the starter.

If the Jets front-office is smart they'll send Tebow out of town and hope for something like a conditional 6th or 7th round pick for him and then sign a free agent to back up Sanchez. Tebow's never going to be an elite or even upper-tier QB. The NFL is a throwing league and he's statistically one of the worst in the game. The QB position isn't going to evolve to suit Tebow's style because quarterbacks are paid way too much money to risk getting injured running the ball, and Tebow has broken ribs twice now shattering the myth that he's somehow indestructible.

Sanchez is GUARANTEED OVER $8 MILLION for the 2013 he's not going anywhere before then.

You seriously have to wonder what the hell the Jets front office was thinking. First they sign him to a $40 million extension with over $23 million in guaranteed money. Then they created a media circus by bringing in Tim Tebow. At the very least they undermined Sanchez at the worse created a QB controversy where none was necessarily needed. The Jets receiving corps is also amongst the worse in the NFL tack on injuries and lousy offensive line play and you've get the recipe for an offensive disaster.
