EDIT: Just seconds after posting this, the 49ers make a 1 play drive that takes 8 seconds off the clock and puts them up 38-31. What a game.

They made me waste my emotion, stupid special teams

This game is epic. I'm pulling for the Pats to lose, but this is a football classic. The league's best defense squaring off against the best offense. The best offense gets down early and then comes storming back? This game is epic!

This is the most any team has scored on the 49ers this year. Next highest is 26.

This is also the most a team has scored against the Pats this year.

As a Broncos fan, I'm rooting for the 49ers but man what a game......or at least what a second half!

Well, the 49ers hung on for the win. The AFC Playoff picture is now:

Houston Texans: 12-2
Denver Broncos: 11-3
New England Patriots: 10-4
Baltimore Ravens: 9-5
Indianapolis Colts: 9-5
Cincinnati Bengals: 8-6

Still in the hunt but distant long shots:

Pittsburg Steelers: 7-7
New York Jets: 6-7

The best part about this week for me was the Broncos sliding into that #2 spot. They are in the driver's seat now for a first round bye and have a very favorable remaining schedule.

Why they hell are they going for it on 4th down on their own 20 yard line with 2 timeouts and the 2 minute warning??
