I think they had to at that point. I mean they had come so far and it punt it away without going for it would not have made any sense.

It was just a dumb pass by Brady when he could have thrown a shorter pass to get the 1st down

Jets @ Titans tonight on Monday Night Football. This one promises to keep us all on the edges of our seats. Really though, a Jets win and they still have an outside shot at getting into the playoffs. Jets lose and they are done.

If the Jets win they still are not going to make the playoffs since too much has to happen

It's a lot, but not too far fetched. It basically is a combination of the Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals all finishing at 9-7, combined with the Jets finishing at 9-7. Certainly would not be the first time a team that was left for dead with 2 or 3 games remaining benefited from some help down the stretch.

Watching this game, only because the Packers play the Titans on Sunday, they come to Lambeau. Sanchez just threw a pick but very close to the sideline, low scoring game. I can't see the Jets getting to the playoffs.

Well since all that has to happen then it's over now

I can't either, but the math still works in their favor and it is not like the Ravens, Steelers, or Bengals are a lock to keep the Jets out, either. There are a number of scenarios that get the Jets in. Of course, they all start with them winning this game tonight and they are playing like garbage, so it is in all likelihood a futile discussion.

Sanchez: 4 interceptions and a fumble. An interception & a fumble in the last 1:53 in the red zone down by 4. How does this guy keep his job?

That was an absolute classic way to end the game and their season. Can always count on Sanchez for something like that.
