The Falcons not showing up in today's season ending loss might be an omen... they have not had back to back losses since early 2009... a streak of 45+ games which is the longest in the NFL.

I hope their tendencies for bouncing back from a loss with a victory override their 1st round playoff history in recent years. I do think this is the best Falcons team in the Mike Smith era... now it's time to get it done in the playoffs.

I don't get Atlanta. Why play Ryan in the second half of a meaningless game? Oh well, it really doesn't matter.

So sad for the NY Giants. A day late and a buck short.

Chicago is currently on the edge of their seats hoping for a Packers win.

SF clinches #3 for sure, possibly #2

Seattle is locked in at #5.

Green Bay is playing from behind for a FRB.

Washington hoping for the #4 seed with a win over Dallas tonight, or to be a lock for at least the #6 seed if the Vikings lose and they can't pull it out at home this evening.

The Redskins are out if they lose tonight because they needed the Bears and Vikings to both lose. So the Redskins-Cowboys game tonight is all or nothing for both teams. I love games like that!

Good point. The Bears win eliminated that possibility. Winner moves forward. Loser hits the golf course!

Playoffs start this evening!

And that game will determine the last playoff team. The Vikings are in at 10-6, pushing the Bears off to the golf course. Peterson needed 208 rushing yards, he got 199. That's a bit of a disappointment, but he did carry his team to a win and a playoff appearance.

Atlanta will get either Dallas/Washington, Seattle or Minnesota in divisional round.

I like the Falcons chances to win a playoff game.

Thank you Vikings... your win keeps Green Bay out of Atlanta for the divisional round.

Great for AP! They're in the playoffs, and he is surely a class act!

yep having the claymaker in there kept him to just 199

Vikings @ Packers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Division rivals in the playoffs together is always good football. Looking forward to that one!

A class act doesn't

- drive 54 mph over the speed limit.

- push a police officer & resist arrest & then need 3 people to arrest him

- doesn't oversleep & miss the bus before a big game

If you're looking for a class act then you need to look outside of the realm of professional football.
