But RG3 could not run which makes him one-dimensional so why even give the seahawks defense that advantage? Or why not run the ball more to get the ball out of RG3 hands so that the passing game can open up? This skins loss is clearly on the coach.

With 1:00 left I pulled these stats off USA Todays Box Score

Russell Wilson- 15 for 25 for 187 yards

Seahawks rushed for 225 yards on 35 carries.

6.3 yards a gain is what beat down the Redskins defense. Fact!

I'll post time of possession here in a bit.

But T Davis couldn't even see in that super bowl when Shanahan put him in. He couldn't even see and he lined up and ran the play. You don't sign your players so they can sit on the sideline when they get hurt. It has to be a legit injury, and even the with the stakes involved in the NFL, theyay still try to play. If the player tries to take himself out that is one thing. I don't recall seeing Griffin motion toward the sideline. Remember the late Steve McNair? Remember his linemen carrying him to the line of scrimmage so he could run the next play? The toughness is one of the reasons I love football.

Good game and Congrats to the Seahawks. I genuinely thought the Redakins would take this one.

Definitely should have been sat before he was...RG3 that is.

Thing is, he wasn't able to run effectively...just planting was a problem...it was easy from there.

Cousins could have brought them back, I think, given enough time...

Still...better team won.

Falcons next.

Everyone in the NFC needs to be frightened about this Seahawks defense. They are just that good. Combine this with Mr. Beast Mode and Wilson's game management and I think they are legitimate Super Bowl threat.

I;m not too sure about that because it seemed like the Seattle defense did not wake up until their offense scored 10 pts. Before that the Skins were moving the ball up and down the field with no problem but it was the momentum that changed the aggressiveness of the seattle defense.

It will be interesting to see the Seahawks/Falcons game, what do you think will happen with that one?

Probably have to give the edge to the Falcons because they won't be going up against another team with a injured QB. Seattle was able to take advantage of a team with a QB who was unable to make plays due to inujry. So I don't think no one should be picking the seahawks this week over Atlanta.

I can't buy Atlanta winning this one with their previous fails in the playoffs and how hot the Seahawks are now.

Boy, will there be the conversation this week about RGIII/injury, not taking him out, etc., and then whether Falcons can finally win a division game and go further in the playoffs!
