Well, after the divisional round knocked out my Broncos, I officially don't give a flip about the rest of the season. But someone has to win the Super Bowl, so I am now pulling for the Falcons, as they are the only team left who has not won it yet. I also like the Ravens because I have enjoyed watching Ray Lewis over the years and wouldn't mind seeing him go out on top.

49ers are probably glad they dont have to face the Seahawks, since they were soundly beaten by them on the next to last regular season game. They havent played the Falcons the last last two years since Harbaugh begin coaching at SF. Not to sure if the Falcons will have an awnser to stopping Kaepernick, thus most are picking the 49ers.

So the Falcons who:

1) Were 13-3 in the regular season
2) Beat the Super Bowl Champion NY Giants 34-0
3) Beat the media favorite Denver Broncos
4) Beat the "hottest team", the media's love of the Seattle Seahawks
5) Beat other good teams, such as the Redskins and Cowboys

haven't proven they are "legit".

Hmm, okay.

I don't believe it. If this were any other team, you wouldn't have so many naysayers, especially at this point.

Your team, the Philadelphia Eagles, was horrible this season. If the Falcons aren't legit, then your team would likely not make it against many college teams. That's how crazy all of this anti-Falcons talk is.

Let's not forget the Falcons played the 32nd ranked schedule this season. Even though 4 of the last 5 top seeds who played the 32nd ranked schedule made the Super Bowl... most recently the 2009 Super Bowl champion Saints.

Weak schedule argument is weak.

They are legit to me but since they had a history of losing in the postseason that's probably why the media will pick the niners. But I'm already sold and hoping the Falcons are in the SB against the Pats because I can't stand the niners.

Also keep in mind that they almost blew the game so that maybe another reason why the media will pick the Niners

Probably because the Niners are a better team? Either that or the national media are devil worshippers.

Ok...betting line for the NFC Championship game is SF as a 3 1/2 point favorite and the over/under is 48....

No real surprise there....

I think the big question for SF is going to be which Kap shows up... the Kap who played yesterday or the Kap that stunk up Seattle a few weeks ago...

Any betting lines on him having 2 stellar games in a row?
