I was surprised to see that Atlanta is 4 point underdog. Usually home team is worth 3 points, so if the game was on a neutral field, SF would be favored around 7.
Lack of respect for #1 seed and home field. It should be a very good game.

Matt Ryan is... 33-7 in the Georgia Dome for his career?

Is there anyone better at home? Tom Brady perhaps?

I like the Falcons chances. The 49ers are the Seahawks with a better pass rush and weaker secondary. Ryan gets the ball out quick... it should lead to lots of points.

Which Kap will we see? The one who beat GB or the one who got blown out by 30 on the road in Seattle?

I rate the game a clear toss-up.
No way I give Atlanta the 4 1/2 points.

An interesting note about today's NFC championship game...

Teams that play their home games outdoors are 0-5 lifetime in championship games played indoors...

Dilemma:

Atlanta + 14 1/2 points.
SF + 6 1/2 points.

Look at last week. SF had over 320 rushing yards. That may not happen vs. Atlanta.
SF is only 5-3 on the road and only averaging 24 points on the road. They have only scored 20 in domed stadiums.
I don't think they can score 20-24 and beat Atlanta by more than 14 points at the same time.

Good point. I agree.

Average: 26.5 PPG

Their 3 losses were to division opponents... by 4 @ NO, by 10 @ CAR and by 5 vs TB in the season finale. To even suggest they lose by 21 points is even more laughable. They beat every team on their schedule.
