and on a cell phone pic...

Just found the NFL show yesterday, think that will help...

I know more now than I thought, maybe from watching NFL for so many years and having a brother/friends that played (PeeWee football - college) and a boyfriend quarterback, etc.

Apparently what my interest involves is finding out more re strategies---

Well, I'm a little in the same boat as greatblueheron. I've watched football for decades, was a season ticket holder (Broncos) for years and almost never miss more than a couple plays per YEAR of my beloved Broncos, but there are still terms that throw me. I just told my wife about the "Football for Dummies" that she could get for her Kindle, but the dang thing costs more that way than as a new paperback.

I imagine I should make a note of new terms and Google them.

I grew to knew a lot by obsessively watching games and weekly analysis shows, and playing a bit in my younger days.

gbh, if you're ever really confused or just curious about something, shoot me a DM and I'll do my best to explain.

See, I knew you get some help (not that you need a great deal)! Overall C-D folks are a great bunch of people, maybe a little obsessive and eccentric about their favorite teams/subjects (myself included) but nice just the same!

blueheron, I have found that a lot of people pretend to know more than they really do.
You will get it. I think you have to have a love for the game and a hunger to know even more about it.
I watched games when I was younger. Because I lived in Wisconsin I picked the Cowboys for my team because it was a lot of fun to walk into a room at work and yell "Go Cowboys." But I didnt really know anything about the game. Then I watched a game with my then 12 year old grandson, he explained the basics, and whammo, I was hooked from there in.
Guys start talking fancy talk about routes and plays, I dont always know what they are talking about. But I know enough.
