Allright! We've finally arrived at the last week of the season. This is always a wild and wacky week 'cause some teams have everything to play for and others will rest their starters (at least in the second half). Some teams are already locked into their respective seeding. Others are not. A couple are looking for the #1 draft pick. Let the madness begin!

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta
NY Jets @ Buffalo
Baltimore @ Cincinnati
Chicago @ Detroit
Jacksonville@ Tennessee
Houston @ Indianapolis
Carolina @ New Orleans
Philadelphia @ NY Giants
Cleveland @ Pittsburgh

Oakland @ San Diego
Arizona @ San Francisco
St. Louis @ Seattle
Green Bay @ Minnesota
Miami @ New England
Kansas City @ Denver

Dallas @ Washington

Washington on a roll and wraps up a playoff spot.
San Francisco humbled by Seattle last week takes their frustration out on Arizona.
Seattle wins but a possible first half let down, after creaming S.F. last week.
Denver wraps up home field as Houston can easily lose to an under rated Colt team.

They will be interesting and many questions will be answered.

Can anyone beat the Falcons in Atlanta?
Can New England's poor defense avoid defeat?
Can young teams like Seattle win a game?
Will the Colts needs two types of luck? (Andrew and Lady Luck)

You know it. I think any number of teams can win the super bowl. I dont see one team that is the clear favorite. Its going to be an exciting playoffs.

I would agree. Another reason why the NFL is the best.

Actually, when I think of this season, it's rather 'chalk' if you compare it to the last. In the AFC, I believe there is one team out that is not in this year, and that's the 6th seed, where the Steelers are out, but the Colts replace. Five out of six teams will return in the AFC. In the NFC, the Lions and probably the Giants are out. That means that 4 out of the six post-season participants from last season return. Newcomers are the Seahawks, and possibly the Redskins/Cowboys, or Vikings/Bears.

On with the picks:

Tampa Bay @ Atlanta
NY Jets @ Buffalo
Baltimore @ Cincinnati
Chicago
@ Detroit
Jacksonville@ Tennessee (as an aside, I think there will be more juice at a local high school basketball game than in this building for this game)
Houston @ Indianapolis
Carolina @ New Orleans
Philadelphia @ NY Giants
Cleveland @ Pittsburgh

Oakland @ San Diego
Arizona @ San Francisco
St. Louis @ Seattle
Green Bay @ Minnesota
Miami @ New England
Kansas City @ Denver

Dallas
@ Washington

I'm already having football withdrawal, no Monday, Thursday or Saturday games this week. Yuck.

One good thing is that the last game on Sunday is Dallas at Washington.....go skins!
