I think they may be. They are hiding up there in the Pacific NW ready to destroy all comers in the playoffs.

No. Because of one win people are high on Seattle. It's just one win.

But man, they've been playing solid defense most of the season, they have a dominant RB and an emerging star QB and some pretty decent talent at WR.

For me, they are a major sleeper in the playoffs.

And there are other teams that also have that. If not more. I don't think anyone should take them lightly, but I don't see them winning it all.

My Niners traveled the country, coast to coast, for consecutive road games. With those traveling demands, they were bound for a loss in one of those games. Seattle is not better than San Fran, as stated special circumstances enabled an one sided game. Finally, lets see how good the Seagulls play on the road.

Every week some talking heads jump on another teams band wagon and that becomes the team of the week! We'll see how good the Seahawks and 49ers really are very soon, I think!

they might be the hottest team at the moment...not sure if they're the overall best team in the NFL.

Broncos and Falcons might have to say something about that. We all know the 12th man in Seattle makes them borderline unbeatable...but let's see what the seahawks can do on the road in the first round of the playoffs away from home...and against a a team other than the Bills or Cardinals.

with that said, still very impressed with seattle, one of my favorite teams to watch this season.

Special circumstances? Don't make excuses. They need to play better football.

I don't think so. However I think the NFC should be very afraid to play these guys since they are getting hot at the right time.
