I think thinned lipped arrogant white guys that have won a SB are getting the shaft. Hence, the reason why Brian Billick hasn`t been offered a job in years
Actually it does. You just aren`t reading between the lines.
I think you need to read between the lines. Interviewing coaches just to satisfy the Rooney rule is dumb and offensive. There are some black coaches that are just as qualified to coach as a white person, there just given the opportunity. Get it?
There are 3 black head coaches out of 32 teams. I'm not saying that is should 50-50 but it just seemed out that no one was interested in Lovie or Horton. People came up with an excuse that teams wanted a offensive coach and that was going to be the new trend in NFL. If thats true then how could you explain jacksonville's decision? So if you compare things like for like then Lovie is more qualified to coach then Chip Kelly, Gus Bradley, Chudzinski etc. I find it offensive.

I agree that interviewing certain people just to pacify a particular group is dumb. Get it?

As I put in post #49, just because they're qualified doesn't mean they are a good fit for a particular team. At the pro level, all of these black candidates mentioned are "qualified" to have a HC gig.

I'm not sure what you're complaining about. Black males make up roughly 7% of the U.S. population. Three black HC's out of 32 teams equals .76% higher than what the population equivalent in the U.S. constitutes.
I am waiting for a related thread called "white cornerbacks getting the shaft"!
Thats silly. In fact white players (as well as any another player) have a fair chance to be a cornerback. If your a good enough athlete then people will give you a FAIR oppurtunity to make the team regardless of your education or your criminal record. Now coaching thats another story.....

This topic was on PTI on Friday about not enough black coaches getting hired and I turned the channel because I refuse to listen to that nonsense. And this is coming from a black guy and I agree that Brian Billick who is white has not been offered a job by no NFL Team.
I havent read all 60 or so posts in this thread, but shouldnt there be an emphasis on promoting lower levels first? I promoting say qb coaches to off coordinators and stuff like thar? Isnt that just as important?
