I realize you can make stats say whatever you want, but guess I wanted a reason to go with the Seahawks!

I am really liking the Packers right now. The other 3 games I am not as confident about picking. Peyton Manning, save for the 2006 season, has not performed well in post-season. That said, the Broncos defense is really the catalyst here. It's easy to say that Joe Flacco will come up short on the road, but the Ravens are a well seasoned bunch, and I don't think it's as easy to pick against them as some experts say.

One thing that would be borderline fascinating is that should the Packers and Seahawks both win, it sets up a rematch of "Golden Tate-Gate" the week 3 game that effectively put the regular referees back into employment.

Exactly what I don't want, all the hype that comes with it, tired of the debate, was it or wasn't it, people using Cold Hard Facts, saying it was a catch, blah, blah, blah. Packers got in the playoffs, didn't need that win, did have some implications on the seeding but oh, well, too late now. This is why I would rather have it be the Falcons but first Packers have to get past the 49ers.

It wasnt a catch. I couldnt make it so no matter how hard I tried.
But there would be a sense of satisfaction if the Packers beat the Seahawks, wouldnt there?
And I wouldnt worry about the seeding either.

These 3 are easy to pick

49ers were my pick to win the super bowl when the playoffs began. What they did against the Patriots a few weeks ago was amazing!!
What's even more amazing is the way they nearly choked that game away.

Not too much faith in the Texans or Ravens in the poll. Seahawks/Falcons almost evenly divided. Of course, 49ers get the edge over the Packers and I think it could be a close game.

If we have to depend on Mason, hope he does well! 49ers brought another kicker in for competition and Seahawks went with Longwell (their kicker is injured)! No options now, Pack have to go with what they've got.

You could win some serious jack in Vegas if you went with those picks and they turned out to be true.

The last two yes, but I think betting money is starting to follow the Falcons now. If the GB-SF game were in Green Bay, the Packers would be clearly favored, and I would bet them to win in Candlestick tomorrow anyways. I hope I am wrong though, if only for the purposes of my post-season fantasy football pool.
