Apparently:

Tim Tebow a virtual certainty to sign with Jacksonville Jaguars in 2013, according to sources - ESPN New York

Honestly, their fan base is so poor and they're of such little financial value to the league, I'd be all for them building a spread-option team around Tebow. They're already a guaranteed W for their opponents, might as well have some novelty value.

Thanks for the link John.

I get USA Today when I crank up this outdated computer of mine. There is a story on Tebow going to Jacksonville as well.

Honestly JAX is probably his last chance as an NFL QB. He bombs out there and he'll be out of the league if he refuses to switch positions.

The other day I heard CFL. I don't think that's too far off the horizon unless he retires or converts to another position.

Anyone know if he can catch? Looks like he could be a useful TE.

Jacksonville makes sense because they need a QB (Bland Gabbert is certainly not any good) and Tebow is a local. He could probably generate some interest in the team, a team that has suffered from a lack of interest and always comes up in the "which franchise will move to L.A." discussion. With Marice Jones-Drew and Tebow's running ability, they could really build an option-based offense IF IF IF the Jags somehow figured out how to play defense. And they would need to do it lights out, too because a Tebow-led offense has little to no room for error.

it's about time he came to Jax. Tebow is very popular here and would undoubtedly rejuvenate the franchise. I hope he succeeds and the Jax utilize him. It will be an interesting ride.

Jacksonville needs more then a gimmick RB/FB playing QB.

Yeah, but you can't draft a fanbase.

I would assume a fanbase would want to win though. I just dont think Tebow will help much. In my opinion.

It's not like Tebow is going to double their home attendance. The Jags are selling almost 96% of their tickets.
