I don't expect any Falcons fans to be excited about it tonight but a month from now when everything is over and done with the season overall will not look as bad.
Disagree..number one seed ..home field A 17-0 lead... just another playoff failure..nothing good to see here.

I was downtown Atlanta today & I have say you could really feel the depression, biggest home game in franchise history 4th & 4.....what a heart breaker.
Most teams don't even make it to the post-season, year-after year. Any way you cut it, a team that makes it to the post season is good and not deserving of scorn.
You can't use that excuse any more, so I suppose you haters will make something else up to explain away your irrational hatred for the Falcons.
I
RISE UP!
Well it is Atlanta, probably one of the few cities that does not kiss the medias a$$ when they come to town.

It's still something to build on for next season. Remember the Eagles lost their home playoff game in 2002 and came back next year to have another home game in the NFC Championship

I really don't think Atlanta has to....
And again, I really, really don't know where some of you Falcons fans are getting this "hatred" from. No one, and I mean NO ONE hates that Falcons, outside of the NFC South rival cites, anyway. The rest of the country just doesn't care.
Some franchises in the NFL are more coveted than others.
Might've been blowout ...Akers missed a FG and Crabtree fumbled at the goalline.
I think the Crabtree fumble actually worked in favor of San Fran. They got to use more time off the clock and got the ball back almost at midfield for their GW touchdown drive because Atlanta had to punt for the endzone. Just like last week the Marshawn Lynch touchdown actually helped the Falcons because it preserved precious time. If he fumbles, Seattle still has the ball at the 1 yard line and can do what that want with it.

I learned today that fumbling on the 1yd line is not actually a bad thing LOL. Mainly because the opposing has horrible field position.
The Falcons was supposed to take a shot at a long pass on 1st down but they didn't do it and it cost them

I thought they tried to pass and it got blocked at the line. The problem with going deep is that you need time. And when you are standing in your own endzone that is certainly riskly.
